Traditional accompiament with lamb.
Ingredients
- 1/4 pint vinegar
- 1/2 pint water
- 4 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons warm water
Instructions
- Simmer vinegar and water with 2 heaped tablespoons chopped mint until reduced to half the original quantity. Remove from heat and strain. Add 4 tablespoons warm water, lemon juice, sugar and salt. When cold add another 2 tablespoons chopped mint leaves.
