Lamb Burgers with Spicy Sour Cream Dressing |

Ingredients
- 450 gram minced lamb
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon curry paste
- 1 tablespoon scallions chopped
- tablespoon salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Sour Cream Dressing
- 125 millilitres soured cream
- 1/2 tablespoon curry paste
- 1-2 tablespoon chopped scallions
- tablespoon salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Place the minced lamb in a large bowl, heat the oil in a pan and saute the onions. Add the curry paste and cook for a minute or two then cool.
- Stir the mixture through the minced lamb plus the scallions and seasoning. Shape into four burgers (you can make and freeze if you wish)
- Heat a grill or barbecue. Cook the burgers for five to six minutes on each side. Meanwhile, mix the soured cream with the curry paste, seasoning and scallions. Taste for seasoning.
Notes
Serve the lamb burgers on a burger bun, with a spoonful of dressing, salad and some finely chopped red onion and chilli.
